Highly recommended. Shonda was friendly and effectively explained the scheduling process. Techs showed up early (but called first to see if that was ok) They know what they're doing and are reasonably priced.

Really impressed with my total experience with Tech Around - though I did not meet personally with Jose - my sister who leaves in this rental property did meet with Jose and had nothing but positive accolades!! I did talk with him when he was on his way - nothing but professional. Definitely keeping your contact info for any future appliance repair needs.

Tech Around Appliance came to the rescue when our dryer stopped working. Shonda was friendly and able to get us scheduled quickly. Jose Correa was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was able to diagnose the problem and make the repair much quicker than we expected. We will definitely use this company again with future appliance repair needs.

Nicoh was on time with his helper Anton. They were able to get the beast of a double oven out of the wall cabinet to diagnose that it was the control panel. Unfortunately, the panel is on back order. Since it is summer I will wait a bit for the board. If it doesn't come quickly, then Nicoh will be back to install whatever oven I buy to replace. They were kind, informative, polite and cleaned up when they were done. Thank you - Nicoh. Definitely recommend Nicoh and company.

Our Tech Around Town was an angel. I run a homeless shelter and our dryer stopped working. From the time we called the staff was professional, efficient and caring. Shonda cheerfully set our appointment. Jose was a pro. He came out, on time, diagnosed and repaired the problem within 30 minutes. God bless you at Tech Around Town!

We had a five year old LG refrigerator with cooling issues both in the refer & freezer boxes, the manufacturer recommended three local authorized technicians in the area of Virginia Beach. This was a Saturday, Nicoh Key of Tech Around was the only one to answer the call and they were able to fit me in the same day, not sure if that's a norm but it worked for me. I liked Nicoh's professionalism and candor on the phone, I knew right away that this was going to be a good experience. They (Nicoh had a trainee with him) arrived within their 1:00 to 4:00 window around 1:30, called to let us know they were in the neighborhood and promptly got to work when they arrived. They found the problem within minutes, unfortunately, the diagnosis led to low refrigerant level in the compressor. Apparently, the LG compressors cannot be recharged, so we opted to get a new refrigerator vise paying through the nose for the repair (not the fault of Tech Around, the parts alone were astronomical in price). The gentlemen were very courteous and answered all our questions. They were very knowledgeable of our brand refrigerator. I would recommend Tech Around Appliance to anyone with LG problems or anything else for that matter!

I have used Tech Around on two separate occasions with my business. A part of me is hesitant to write a positive review because I want to always be able to get them, however, this is such a great gem everyone should know and they deserve all the success and growth they can handle. I truly can't say enough positive things about them, especially pandemic/post pandemic life trying to get service....it was as if everyone's stuff all broke at the same time. Companies were not answering their phones, returning calls or were booked out weeks on end. They are super responsive, communication outstanding, on time, professional and literally just everything you want in a business. The issues were quickly diagnosed and repaired just as quickly or as quick as parts were available and most importantly it was done well. Pricing was extremely fair and Nicoh even gave options for alternatives. They have always been on time, clean with their work and the repairs have lasted and with my business and so much laundry, that means a lot!

Nicoh came out the same day I called about an issue with my dryer. Upon arriving, he told me I needed a gas hookup for the dryer to heat, and that he couldn't work on it for me. Even though he wasn't able to do any service, he gave me his card and told me to call for any further help I need and even offered to help me move my dryer to put the old one back. I'll definitely call whenever I need something!

Jose Correa came out to repair our dryer. As soon as I showed him the issue he knew the problem and fixed it promptly. He also continued to look around our dryer to make sure there were no other pending issues. He definitely knows his dryer issues! So grateful he was here to help us! He is super knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and respectful. We will definitely be contacting him with any future issues. Thank you again Jose!

Our refrigerator wouldn't hold temp they came in figured it out got it working temporarily till the part they needed came in and finished it up for us they were quick and efficient will definitely use them again and recommend them

Nicoh was once again amazing working on our very old gas stove. He went through his diagnosis steps and adjusted the oven so that everything is working well. Very happy with the speedy fix!!

Nicoh was incredible! We just moved into our home and thought we would have to replace the dishwasher, but Nicoh responded to us immediately and was able to come out the next day. He diagnosed the issue in 15 minutes. Parts were here the following day and Nicoh was back to install the day after that. He was so professional and easy to work with. Tech around appliance did a great job on my refrigerator. They were super quick and worked around my schedule well. Nicoh and his team are super nice and very personable. Thanks to them I didn't have to go out and spend $2000 on a new fridge. I would highly recommend using them.

I've found my go-to appliance repair company! With appliances it can be hard for me to know who to trust when ordering repairs because I don't understand them. Nicoh was not only exceptional with explaining what I needed to know about my fridge, he gave me multiple options to fix the problem and tried whatever he could to help save me money when making repairs while also not sacrificing quality. He then did the same for me with my stove and at this point I implicitly trust his judgment if I ever have appliance/repair questions. He puts care into his work and has made sure that I'm happy with the finished product! He looks out for my best interest and I don't feel like I have to do additional research to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of. He is the definition of trustworthy and has recommended him and will continue to!

I'm 60 and this is the best repair service I have experienced by far. Found Tech Around on Angi's list and noted they had all five star reviews. Reached out on New Year's Eve, indicating that we had guests coming in a few days and needed our dishwasher repaired pronto, Tech Appliance send Nicoh to our house that afternoon and not only did he fix the problem, he showed us how it resulted from a leak caused by improper installation of the dishwasher. The dishwasher was relatively new and Nicoh provided us with videos and photographs supporting this assessment, which we are now using to get the contractor who did the improper installation to cover any damage caused by the leak. Tech Around Appliance sent someone to our house quickly, Nicoh fixed the problem within the first hour we had already paid for, and he provided us with knowledge and evidence on the cause and possible other issues to have the original installer address. Really can't say enough about these guys. I will never call anybody else for appliance repair!

Was referred to TAA Repair by our property management company. Having never heard of them, admittedly, I was a bit skeptical at first. Was able to schedule a same day appointment. Nicoh called ahead to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time, shortly there after as planned. Our freezer issue was diagnosed and repaired within the hour. I would certainly recommend them for any future appliance repair needs.

Will most definitely call again next time I have a problem with an appliance, whether it's at home or my office. Nicoh was on time, courteous, friendly, and clearly diligent about doing things both properly and in a timely manner. He was actually able to come over a couple hours after my initial call, and returned later the same day to replace the defective part. He made absolutely certain there were no problems or leaks before he left. His prices are great, and I feel MUCH better knowing who to call next time something breaks.

We were able to schedule next day service for a leak in our washing machine. Nico was prompt and very knowledgeable. He quickly determined the problem, fixed it and waited through a quick cycle to make sure the repair was complete. We would use their services again.

Project was electric, the tech fixed it and the dishwasher came up and running. However after putting the machine back together we only tried to make sure the washer would run. We never checked to see if we could open the door to load dishes. I help to fix the door

They are very reliable and did an excellent job with the repair. They went above and beyond to fit my needs as a customer. The price was a bit high since my repair was minor, however they completed repairs quickly and efficiently.
